The experiment involved five hundred forty six men and eight hundred and forty-one female with an average age of sixty-seven years. They were asked to stand on one leg for a maximum of minutes with your eyes open. In addition, participants underwent an MRI to determine the status of the small blood vessels. According to almost half of those who had more than two lacunar infarction lesions, had problems balancing. Even earlier, scientists from Britain came to the conclusion that standing on one leg can be forecast the risk of death.
