On Monday, June 27th was the sixth in Darmstadt Technology meets talent instead (TMT), in which there is a telecom internal event for students and young people interested in technology. The Telekom organized several times a year at various locations, but a free invitation liable conference of its kind. The event was very well organized and consists half of high-profile speakers and half submitted by students to lectures and discussions.
In the morning, spoke Edward R. Kozel, chief technology and innovation for Deutsche Telekom AG, Scott Seaborn, Head of Mobile Technologies of the Ogilvy Group UK and futurologist Prof. Peter Wippermann. The Postgraduate Fabian Hemmert, a PhD student in the German Telekom Laboratories (T-Labs) at the TU Berlin in Design Research, reported animatedly about futuristic smartphone features.
On the afternoon of interactive and marked by student participation second part of the conference was held. The themes revolved around the theme of Mobile, finally, the motto of the day was also Mobilize your ideas .
The successful day was rounded a sumptuous dinner and a fun dinner speech by Thomas Berger saddle, Board Member German Telekom AG from. Mr. Berger saddle then stood up late into the night all participants available for interviews – so that the students in attendance had a nice opportunity to make personal contact in the most airy heights of the Deutsche Telekom Group.
Accordingly positive was also the feedback regarding the Technology meets Talent 2011 in Darmstadt. Interesting presentations, a great location, good food and stimulating conversation now have a lot in the coming Technology meets Talent expect and when the next event of this kind be, has already been set: on 09/12 in Berlin.
